About Math&Me
Hello,
my name is Maria and I am the author of these university math courses. I have graduated from the bachelor's of Business and Economics (BBE) at WU and currently I am in my second year of Digital Economy master's (also at WU, I am a loyal student-customer ahaha).
These courses were made to help students who are in their first year of an economics/business-related bachelor's and math got in their way of enjoying their student life. Moreover, if you are studying another major and you come across these math topics, feel free to drop me a message and join these courses or schedule an individual class with me.
So, now you have the perfect opportunity to finally grasp the topics and learn how to solve the practice tasks!

What will you get
Easy-to-understand Explanations of the Topics • It Will Be Easy to Do Your Homework • Timely Passing of Exams (Avoiding Retakes)
Theory
For each topic you will get a summary of all the necessary theory to solve practical problems and understand the material.
Practical tasks
In each topic you will be offered to solve a number of typical tasks with solutions to determine what remains unclear and patch-up any knowledge gaps before your exams.
Live Webinars
You will have access to two kinds of webinars:
1) Theoretical webinars with explanations of the theory
2) Practical webinars with explanations of the tasks
Community
During the course/s you will be part of a course participants' group where you can chat with your fellow colleagues, get to know each other and discuss your questions. Of course, Maria will also be part of this group to provide extra guidance when needed.

These courses include
25+
Math topics
50+
Tasks and explanations of how to solve them
40+
Online live webinars

I'm ready to start studying, how do I join the course and get started? If you want to start studying as soon as possible, then in order to join the course you need to fill out the contact form on this website (or use the chat function), write me an email or text me on Instagram (@maria.teachie). I will send detailed instructions on how to register on the platform and an invoice for payment. After the payment is completed and you have sent me the receipt, I will add you to the platform and you can start studying. Usually this process takes 1 - maximum 2 business days.

How long does this course last (until when do I have access to this course)? The course is split into two parts and is made to match the curriculum of the first two semesters of your university studies. The first part covers all the topics you cover in the first (winter) semester that lasts from October to January and the second part of this course includes the topics covered in the second semester that goes from March until June. We have deliberately combined its duration with your studies so that you have the opportunity to ask Maria (me, hi! I am the one writing this text) any questions you might have during your academic journey (when the academically challenging degree you hoped day and night to get into is suddenly challenging you academically;). It is up to you whether you only join for the first part or the second part (or both!).
-
What level of knowledge is required to start this course? To start taking the course all you need is motivation, since completing this course and our professional approach will allow you to reach the required level of knowledge in mathematics from any level (and I am assuming you already have some basic math skills from school and/or after preparing for the entrance exam if your university had one). So let's get this math party started!
-
Who was this course made for? This course has been designed for students who are getting an economics/business-related bachelor's (or also called undergraduate) degree and have mathematics in the 1st and 2nd semesters of their university studies. This course was made to make their academic lives (tackling challenging homework problems and preparing for midterm and final exams) easier (to have more time for socializing and going to event with their classmates!:))
-
What should I do if I have a question or difficulty solving a problem? If you don't understand something and/or you can't manage to solve a problem, then you can send your questions to Maria (me) before the webinar takes place so that I can go through them during it (a webinar usually lasts 1-1.5 hours).
-
How does the study process look like?By becoming a course participant, you gain access to an educational platform that contains theoretical materials, explanations of typical tasks to draw your attention to those tricky details, and practice tasks - so all the material that is necessary and sufficient for independent study. Also, online group webinars will be held weekly, where more complex parts of theory are explained, students receive answers to questions, and the solutions to typical tasks from the course are shown. The course has everything you need to successfully study and pass the math tests at your university.
-
What are we going to study in this course? As you can see from the topic list above, the topics match with the university program in many economics/business bachelor's degrees. Usually, the first semester deals with functions and with all the things you can do with them (differentiation, integration, etc.) and the second semester is all about statistics. If you have a different schedule please get in touch with me via this website's contact form, my email or Instagram (@maria.teachie, I answer very fast there) so we can figure out the best solution for you!
-
What are the benefits of joining this course? This course will give you the explanations and support you need to master and really understand the theoretical material of the math topics and help you get rid of difficulties you have when completing your homework.
